Big fan of the Friedman BE-OD Brown Eye-style overdrive? Then double your fun with the BE-OD Deluxe! This quality stompbox comes loaded two independent channels based on the same circuit so you can either channel up for rhythm work or leads and simply switch between both channels via the fitted footswitch when the time is right. Here, it's worth pointing out that the second channel has a little less gain, making it more suited for rhythm parts. Also, the Tight pot of the regular BE-OD has been swapped out for a toggle switch.

The various dedicated channel switches are an easy way to tighten up your overdriven sound, while the added Mid controls combine with Presence pots for extra-potent EQ tweaks across the entire frequency range. What's also pretty awesome is that the Friedman BE-OD Deluxe can be powered using a 9V DC or an 18V DC power supply, where the latter obviously gives you a little extra headroom to play with.
